Jonah’s Mausoleum – Mosul
Pictures from biblical Jonah’s Mausoleum in Nabi Younis in East Mosul. The Mausoleum was destroyed by Islamic State in 2014 and a tunnel system built under the ruins. From the ruins of the mausoleum the war could be seen continuing 3 Ks further west.
